barber booking software pricing

What barber booking software really costs

Last reviewed 2026-08-31 · The NxtSeat team

You pay for booking software in four ways: a monthly plan, extra users, marketplace or new-client fees, and card processing. NxtSeat’s public plans are Basic and Pro on a flat month, with a two-week tryout. We do not take a percent of the booking. Competitor numbers move. Last reviewed 2026-08-31.

The four kinds of booking cost

  1. Subscription: the plan
  2. Seats: more money per barber
  3. Marketplace fees: a cut of some new clients
  4. Money movement: cards, and sometimes a small platform fee

Solo math vs shop math

A solo barber can live on one seat. A shop that pays per extra user feels that on payday. Booksy has publicly listed $29.99 a month for one user and $20 per added user. Confirm it on their pricing page before you use that in a spreadsheet.

Marketplace acquisition is not free

Fresha has described a one-time 20% marketplace new-client fee with a $6 minimum, on eligible clients. That is a marketing cost. Direct bookings you bring yourself should not pay it.
